Landscape lock, not a photo-tour SKU
China Danxia was inscribed in 2010 as a natural serial property on criteria (vii) and (viii). The brief synthesis describes landscapes developed from continental reddish conglomerate and sandstone, also called red beds, in a warm humid monsoon climate, shaped by uplift, weathering, and erosion. That is the rock you are photographing in Jiangshan. It is not limestone karst, not granite, and not the rhyolite of Yandang.
The UNESCO list page names six areas: Chishui, Taining, Langshan, Danxiashan, Longhushan, and Jianglangshan, on a crescent of about 1,700 kilometres from Guizhou Province in the west to Zhejiang Province in the east. Jianglangshan is the Zhejiang area on that arc. Name the others so you do not drive to the wrong province. Do not build those guides on this URL. Wikipedia records that in September 2013 Mount Jianglang was the scene for a stunt by Jeb Corliss, who flew between two of the peaks in a wingsuit after jumping from a helicopter. Zhejiang three peaks: what you actually shoot
An independent photographer here works these situations across one full day or a day and a half based within reach of the Jiangshan gate: the three towers from a marked overlook, Lang Feng isolation from a designated rail, a between-peak gap as geometry the path already faces, red-bed faces in side light, a second marked overlook if the notice still allows it, approaches only from marked pull-offs, late directional light inside live closing times, and a weather-retry session if the ticket still allows it. Confirm which overlooks are open that morning. I will not invent a viewpoint ranking or a guaranteed light hour.
1. The three towers from a marked overlook. Lang Feng, Ya Feng, and Ling Feng from north to south in a river-shaped arrangement. A moderate wide angle holds the three towers. A short telephoto (70–200mm) isolates one tower when side light has not yet filled the whole line. Stay on the path. This is not a Hunan peak cluster — that is Langshan Photography 2026. If mist hides the far tower, do not invent a higher unmarked ledge.
2. Lang Feng as the published high point. Wikipedia prints Lang Feng at 816.8 metres. Cite that height. Do not invent metre counts for Ya Feng or Ling Feng that this page did not fetch. Shoot from the designated rail. Do not walk the spine of the form.
3. A between-peak gap as geometry. The published stunt story exists because two peaks leave a narrow gap in the air. That gap is landscape geometry. It is not a product. Do not hire a helicopter. Do not buy a wingsuit day. A short telephoto from the designated step is enough. Expose for the rock and let the sky go bright.
4. Red-bed faces in side light. The UNESCO synthesis calls out spectacular red cliffs and erosional landforms including pillars and towers. This is not a Gansu color platform — that is Zhangye Danxia Photography 2026. The color here is the red bed of Zhejiang.
5. A second marked overlook if the ticket still allows it. Do not use the 610 hectare file to pad a one-hour whistle loop. Do not invent a walk minute or a must-see summit beyond the published Lang Feng height.
6. Between-zone approaches from marked pull-offs. Component 1335-009 is 610 hectares. The buffer is 571 hectares. Neither figure is a boardwalk. Shoot only from marked pull-offs. Hangzhou is a connecting city about 250 kilometres away. Quzhou is a connecting city. Neither is the three-peak overlook.
7. Late directional light within live closing times. Confirm the morning bulletin. Do not stay after the scenic day closes. Leave with the last reliable transfer.
8. Weather-retry and the frame you refuse. If the morning refused the three-peak line, the second session is the same line on a later light. If someone sells a wingsuit package, refuse it. LocalKey will not book that product.
Getting to Jiangshan without inventing a minute. Jiangshan is a county-level city in Quzhou prefecture, southwest Zhejiang, about 250 kilometres southwest of Hangzhou. How to shoot the Zhejiang peaks without a photo tour
First, buy the real-name scenic ticket the official channel sells for the day you will shoot. Do not invent a price from a blog.
Second, base within a short licensed hop of the Jiangshan gate, not at a Hangzhou hotel that turns the first overlook into a dawn race across 250 kilometres. Set up Alipay for foreigners before you arrive. Hangzhou food stays paused.
Third, shoot the three-peak line first if the light is usable. Isolate Lang Feng when side light hits one face. Work a between-peak gap only from the rail. Do not chase a stunt deck.
