LocalKey Travel provides China travel design, practical trip advisory, itinerary planning, and booking coordination. We may help with hotels, guides, transfers, high-speed rail, restaurants, activities, and on-ground support through selected suppliers. The exact scope for a paid trip is the written proposal and invoice you approve.
Section 2
Traveler responsibilities
You are responsible for checking passport validity, visa or visa-free eligibility, health requirements, travel insurance, airline rules, entry conditions, and personal fitness for the trip. LocalKey can help you organize the decision process, but official requirements can change and must be verified with official sources and carriers.
Section 3
LocalKey responsibility boundary
LocalKey acts as a trip designer, advisor, and coordinator. We are not an airline, rail operator, hotel, restaurant, attraction, insurance provider, government authority, or medical provider. Supplier failures, schedule changes, weather, closures, border decisions, traffic, and force majeure events can affect the trip even when planning is careful.
Section 4
Not legal, immigration, or medical advice
Visa-free route checks, payment notes, safety guidance, health reminders, and itinerary suggestions are travel-planning support only. They are not legal, immigration, medical, tax, or government advice. Travelers should confirm high-stakes requirements with qualified professionals or official authorities.
If events outside reasonable control affect a trip, including severe weather, natural disaster, public health restrictions, transport disruption, civil emergency, government action, supplier insolvency, or major security incident, LocalKey will try to adjust the plan fairly and practically. Refunds and changes depend on supplier terms and the booking conditions that apply to your trip.
We collect only the trip information needed to respond to inquiries, design routes, coordinate bookings, provide support, and improve LocalKey services. China-related personal information handling should be assessed against PIPL where applicable. EU and UK travelers may have GDPR rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection, subject to lawful retention needs. See the privacy and cookie pages for the operational policy.
Section 7
Jurisdiction and disputes
Effective May 25, 2026, this agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising shall be resolved through arbitration in mainland China unless mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction require otherwise.
