I do not publish a drive minute from a named railway station, because a minute I have not measured is a lie. Confirm the live train or road on the day, and leave margin for the last public shuttle if the scenic area is running one. If the shuttle stops before your light is done, you do not have a night plan. You have a walk back you did not book.
On the mountain, stay on marked overlooks and open scenic paths. The useful subject is the edge: table top in the foreground, cliff dropping out of the frame, distant ridges if the air is clear. When ridge mist sits on the fir forest, shoot the edge where the mist thins, not a white frame with no horizon. If the official channel has closed a section, that section is closed.
