A 20% non-refundable deposit is due within 7 days of proposal acceptance before LocalKey confirms paid trip arrangements. The deposit starts supplier confirmation and protects the agreed dates, services, and planning work.

Booking Conditions
The commercial rules behind deposits, balances, cancellations, changes, supplier terms, and insurance. Plain conditions help both sides know what is confirmed, what can change, and what may become non-refundable.
Balance payment
Unless your proposal says otherwise, the balance is due 60 days before departure. Trips booked inside 60 days may require full payment at confirmation.
Cancellation tiers
Cancellation structure: 60+ days before departure, 0% cancellation fee on the unpaid balance while the 20% deposit remains non-refundable; 30-60 days, 50% cancellation fee; less than 30 days, 100% cancellation fee.
Non-refundable supplier items
Some items may become non-refundable once booked, including train tickets, domestic flights, special hotel rates, guide slots, event tickets, restaurant deposits, and supplier-confirmed access. LocalKey will identify known non-refundable items before confirmation where practical.
Changes after booking
Date changes, passenger swaps, hotel changes, activity changes, and route edits depend on supplier rules and availability. LocalKey will try to make reasonable changes, but price differences, change fees, and lost supplier payments may apply.
Force majeure
For events outside reasonable control, LocalKey will work to reroute, postpone, or recover supplier refunds where possible. Any refund depends on supplier terms, payment processor constraints, and the specific trip contract.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Insurance should cover medical needs, cancellation, interruption, baggage, supplier failure where available, and any activities in the confirmed itinerary. Supplier links can be added after Frank approves the recommendation path.
