Yes. Jingmai tea forest — 普洱景迈山古茶林 — is old tea trees under a living forest, in villages that still work the groves. That is the sit. The groves are a World Heritage cultural landscape. The UNESCO World Heritage page for the Cultural Landscape of Old Tea Forests of the Jingmai Mountain in Pu'er records the property inscribed in 2023 under criteria (iii)(v), 7,167.89 ha of property and 11,927.85 ha of buffer, in Huimin Town, Pu'er City, Yunnan. China's National Cultural Heritage Administration page places the same listing in Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Pu'er, Yunnan; lists criteria (iii)(v); dates the inscription to 2023; notes an average elevation around 1,400 m; and names 林下茶 — understorey tea — as the craft Blang ancestors and Dai and other resident peoples kept from the 10th century. You sit one grove. You do not tour the listing.
The listing is a forest under the trees, not a plantation day
UNESCO's brief is explicit: traditional villages inside old tea groves, surrounded by forest and tea plantations, with understorey cultivation of old tea trees. NCHA's Chinese lock is the same craft: 林下茶, 林茶共生. Keep the forest and the table apart from a cleared-row plantation tour.

I will not invent a 2026 ticket price or a ranking of which village is "best." Those change. UNESCO and NCHA keep the craft, the county, and the size of the listing. That is the lock.

Go to Lancang, Pu'er, Yunnan. The official files do not publish a 2026 bus number or a gate price on those pages, so I will not invent either. Arrive at one listed grove. Walk the path the village already uses. If a grove path is open to visitors, enter quietly. Say 景迈山 (Jǐngmài Shān) or 古茶林 if you need the word. Photograph the understorey only if the house and the grove allow it. Do not pick a protected tree. Do not buy a locked departure that sells three groves as stop two, three, and four on a commission day.
Pay by QR for a ticket or a cup if the site uses QR. Set up Alipay for foreigners before you want the day, not at the grove. Cash still appears in smaller rooms. Do not count on English on the wall.
