How to sit without an Erhai tour
Stay in or near the old town if you want craft and a lake walk on the same nights. Give the courtyard the morning. Give the cloth table an afternoon if a door is open. Walk the shore later with the ordinance in mind. A day-trip sandwich that treats Dali as a yacht package plus three photo stops is the product this page is not.
Say three-course tea, or Bai tea, or point at the cups if the room has no English. Bitter first. Sweet second. Aftertaste third. Sit. Do not treat the sequence as a costume show you paid extra to join.
For tie-dye, watch the fold and the dye if a working table lets you. Photograph only if they allow it. Do not pose over cloth you did not make.
