Yes. Fujian tulou — 福建土楼 — are earthen communal houses you walk into and sit with. Round or square walls, a shared courtyard, families who still live the craft of the building. That is the sit. A locked coach that sells "tulou" as three photo stops and a tea hard-sell is a different SKU. I am Frank Zhang. The houses are a World Heritage listing. The UNESCO World Heritage page for Fujian Tulou records the property inscribed in 2008. China's National Cultural Heritage Administration page places the heritage in Nanjing County and Hua'an County of Zhangzhou, and Yongding District of Longyan, Fujian; lists criteria (iii)(iv)(v); dates the inscription to 2008; and notes buildings from the 15th to 20th centuries across more than 120 km, forty-six buildings in the listed set. You sit one cluster. You do not tour the whole listing in one morning.
The listing is three counties, not one theme park
NCHA's distribution line is explicit: 南靖, 华安, 永定. Keep them apart on the day. A brochure that stacks three counties into one timed loop is a group product.

Arrive at one listed cluster. Walk the path the house already uses. If a courtyard is open to visitors, enter quietly. Say 土楼 (tǔ lóu) if you need the word. Photograph the wall and the shared court only if the house allows it. Do not pose inside a private room. Do not buy a locked departure that sells three houses as stop two, three, and four on a commission day.
Pay by QR for tickets or tea if the site uses QR. Set up Alipay for foreigners before you want the day, not at the gate. Cash still appears in smaller rooms. Do not count on English on the wall.
