Yes. Leshan Giant Buddha — 乐山大佛 — is a cliff-carved Buddha you walk down to and sit with, at the confluence of three rivers in Leshan, Sichuan. That is the sit. The site is a World Heritage mixed property. The UNESCO World Heritage page for Mount Emei Scenic Area, including Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area records the property inscribed in 1996 under criteria (iv)(vi)(x). China's National Cultural Heritage Administration page titles the same listing 峨眉山-乐山大佛（文化和自然混合遗产）; places the heritage in Leshan City, Sichuan; lists criteria (iv)(vi)(x); dates the inscription to 1996; and locks the Buddha as an 8th-century cliff carving, 71 m high, looking over the meeting of three rivers. UNESCO's English brief names those rivers as the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi, and sizes the two discrete areas at 15,400 ha (Mount Emei) and 17.88 ha (Leshan Giant Buddha). You sit the cliff. You do not tour the whole mountain listing in one morning.

UNESCO and NCHA keep two linked places under one 1996 file: the Leshan cliff Buddha and Mount Emei's temple landscape. Keep them apart when you plan the day. A boat that races past the face for a phone shot is not the same sit as walking the cliff paths. A cable-car summit day on Emei is a different day again.

I will not invent a 2026 ticket price, a boat schedule, or a ranking of which viewing platform is "best." Those change. UNESCO and NCHA keep the height, the century, the rivers, the criteria, and the size of the listing. That is the lock.

Go to Leshan, Sichuan. The official files do not publish a 2026 bus number or a gate price on those pages, so I will not invent either. Arrive at the Leshan Giant Buddha scenic area. Walk the path the site already uses to the cliff face and the river view. Say 乐山大佛 (Lèshān Dàfó) if you need the word. Photograph the cliff only if the site allows it. Do not buy a locked departure that sells Leshan as stop two between a panda morning and a shopping mall.
Pay by QR for a ticket if the site uses QR. Set up Alipay for foreigners before you want the day, not at the gate. Cash still appears in smaller rooms. Do not count on English on the wall.
